We were created in the image of God. CREATOR of the Universe, everyone and everything within it. With that said, everyone has an inate ability to make. I like to use the term make instead of create for us because to create something is to bring something about from nothing. To make is to take what was created and utilize it in such a way that you MAKE something but you’re starting with what was created. What it is you make can be any number of things. However you can’t not make. So when you do.. do you give it your best shot? You’re leaving your mark on this world. You have the ability to impact someone, to make a difference. So put your heart into it! Amaze! Inspire!

Collaborate
It’s fun to make things but even more fun to make things together. The process of collaboration and brainstorming all the possibilities is possibly my favorite part! I love trying to push the boundaries of what is possible. Sometimes in the pursuit of the impossible you actually find it. Now you know one of the ways in which it won’t work. So persist and pursue other avenues to acheive the impossible. Enjoy the proccess though. Don’t take yourself too seriously. There’s no such thing as perfection in this fallen world but there sure is a lot of beauty in the imperfect.
Perspective
Not always can we see the whole picture. A lot of times its just a sliver of what is really going on. Trusting that God sees the whole picture makes it easier for us to rest. There is no reason for us to try and control every aspect of our lives because we don’t know what we need for what’s to come. Thankfully He does and He equips us appropriately for it. Thats not to say He won’t give us more than we can handle, in fact sometimes He will so that we can learn to trust in Him for strength and comfort. He’s the hero of The Story, He gets all the credit and praise!
Waves
Ever notice the motion of life. No matter how bad you want things to stay the same they always end up changing. We like to think we can force our way on life. Thats like jumping in the middle of the ocean and thinking we can stay in one place and not be affected by the force of the waves. It doesn’t matter how much you wish it.. you will be moved!
